University of Michigan Library's 2022 Frederick Douglass Day, celebrating Black history and activism. The celebration includes a lecture by Dr. Su'ad Abdul Khabeer, an Associate Professor of American Culture and Arab and Muslim Studies at the University of Michigan. Dr Khabeer is introduced by Belquis Elhadi, a Ph.D. Candidate in American Culture at the University of Michigan. A few opening remarks are made by Caitlin Pollock, the Digital Scholarship Specialist at the University of Michigan Library.
