Researchers are increasingly required to write a data management or data sharing plan to accompany their research proposals to funding sources such as NIH, NSF, and more. In this workshop recording we provide an overview of what kinds of information should be included in a data management or sharing plan, along with best practices and resources to help with writing a plan.
This workshop recording is most useful for researchers in the health sciences and STEM disciplines who are early career researchers, researchers who have not yet had to write a data management plan, first-time grant applicants, and graduate students.
This workshop was originally offered as the first of three in the HS-STEM Summer Data Workshop Series in 2023.
