Conducting evidence syntheses are an increasingly popular and impactful way for researchers and policymakers to explore, organize and better understand scholarly literature to address a specific research question. Such evidence syntheses include but are not limited to general literature reviews or systematic reviews. Researchers must understand the associated objectives and processes for each review type before implementing successful reviews. This introductory webinar is a basic introduction of review types, tools to identify what review types best apply to specific research questions, and relevant evidence synthesis resources.
The session is appropriate for those with no or little experience in implementing evidence syntheses.
